In his 30 years of working experiences, TP held leadership roles in Korn Ferry, Andersen Consulting (now renamed Accenture), Hong Leong Group and Hewitt Associates (now renamed Aon Hewitt).

His experiences span across board placements and executive searches, board advisory, leadership assessments, executive life coaching, career development coach, regional consulting and corporate HR in integrated talent management, change management, and organization transformation. TP has spent more than 9 years living and working on consulting projects in 8 countries. He is humbled to have played different roles, be it as a mentor or a coach, in the career journey of many.

TP has been an active volunteer with the Befrienders (providing emotional support to those in despair and distressed) for the past 15 years. He was a board member, and took a year off to be the Executive Director for the Befrienders KL.



Devanesan is a qualified accountant (FCCA) who is also a Chartered Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also holds a law degree (LLB Hons) from the University of London. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (FIIA) where he currently serves as a Governor of the Board.


He is also the past- President of the ACCA Advisory Committee, the past-President of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia and a past-Council Member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants.


Devanesan retired from Bursa Malaysia in 2010 after serving Bursa Malaysia for eighteen years. He started his career at Bursa Malaysia as Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management. He was also, at one time, the Chief Regulatory Officer and later, the Chief Market Operations Officer of Bursa Malaysia.


Subsequent to his retirement from Bursa Malaysia in 2010, he spent 1.5 years at Ernst & Young as a Director at their Advisory Services.


Currently, Devanesan is a trainer/facilitator in the areas of corporate governance, risks, controls, Listing Requirements, boardroom performance, ethics and other governance and capital market subjects.


He is also the trainer for one of the modules of the MAP (Mandatory Accreditation Programme), the 1.5 day training that every director of a Listed Company must attend. He is also a regular trainer for the SIDC (Securities Industry Development Corporation), the training arm of the Securities Commission, especially for the SIDC’s CMDP (Capital Market Development Programme) which every director of a capital market intermediary must attend.


Devanesan started his career in 1979 at the public accounting firm, Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad, where he was an external auditor for six years. He has both external and internal audit experience.

Lee Min On is a retired Partner of KPMG Malaysia after serving 36 years (20 years in Audit & 16 years in Advisory) with the Firm. He headed  the Firm’s Risk Consulting division and Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services unit


He speaks regularly at public seminars and in- house training on Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management (including Fraud Risk Management), Internal Controls & Internal Audit – how to embed the practical applications in organizations


He is an Audit Committee Member of Institute of Internal Auditors, Malaysia, Chartered Accountant of Malaysia Institute of Accountant, Certified Public Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  


A Director of Coalition for Business Integrity Bhd, a not-for-profit organization that advocates, and trains boardroom players and Management, on how to embrace & embed good governance & integrity in the market place, Min On is currently serving 4 Malaysian public-listed boards as independent non-executive board director.

Ms Samantha Tai is a Fellow Member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) and has over 20 years of experience in corporate secretarial work. Samantha has provided extensive in-house training for directors of public listed companies (“PLCs”) and is a regular speaker for seminars organised by MAICSA, Companies Commission of Malaysia, Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance, Federation of Public Listed Companies, Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Investor Relations Association (MIRA), Securities Industry Development Corporation, Bursa Malaysia and other professional bodies/organisations.

He is the Managing Director of Terus Mesra Sdn Bhd, a governance and leadership development training company and an approved professional trainer since 2007 with Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad(“HRDF”). He has over 23 years of broad senior management experience in internal audit, financial management, general management, corporate affairs and regional business development with 5 major listed groups with listings in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.


His industry knowledge covers financial services, industrial equipment assembly and distribution, general insurance, textile manufacturing, property development, infrastructure project management and integrated timber processing and marketing business.

Chief Executive Officer, Minda


Dato’ Abdul Aziz was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Malaysian Directors Academy (MINDA) from 1 October 2009 until 3 October 2016. Prior to his appointment as MINDA’s first CEO, Dato’ Aziz was the Chief Human Capital Officer at Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), a position he occupied for five years before his retirement in September 2009.


He has also served in various senior positions across a number of industries including banking, oil & gas and aviation. Prior to his stint in TM, Dato’ Aziz was the Executive VP, HR Division of RHB Bank Berhad from 2001 to 2004. Before that, Dato’ Aziz spent 20 years in Shell Malaysia in various management positions in Internal & Computing Audit, Marketing Economics, Sales, Supply & Planning and HR.


In 1991, he was assigned to an international posting to Shell Group Head Office in London where he held the position of the shareholders’ representative overseeing Shell’s business interests in Hong Kong and China. He was made the General Manager of HR and Transformation for ASEAN countries upon his return.


Prior to joining Shell Malaysia, he was a Fleet Planning Coordinator with Malaysian Airlines Systems Berhad (MAS) where he began his career in 1977. Dato’ Aziz holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree from the University of Malaya.


Managing Director, Profitability UK


Sekar Shanmugam started his career at Intel as a Systems Engineer and has spent the majority of his 24 year career working in leading corporations like Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Maxis Berhad in senior leadership roles. 


His experience includes, among others, managing business units with full P&L, sales and operational responsibilities, guiding his organisation through the 1997 Asian financial crisis and leading the integration efforts in Malaysia during the merger of HP and Compaq in 2001. At Maxis, he led the Corporate sector business unit and developed new revenue streams through a suite of new enterprise mobility services. 


Sekar is currently the Managing Director of ProfitAbility in South East Asia. ProfitAbility, based near Oxford in the UK is a learning consulting company that designs and delivers customised business simulations for some of the world’s leading companies such as Siemens, Nestlé, Roche, Sky and GKN as well as leading B-Schools like the London Business School. 


Sekar brings many years of hands-on people management and real life business experiences to the training programmes. He has two books about the early days of the Internet to his name and has published numerous articles on the topic of leadership and management. 


Sekar holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. 




Vijayam Nadarajah comes with 25 years of experience in internal audit, restructuring finance functions, change management, risk management, business process reengineering and corporate governance. She is a guest faculty member at the Malaysian Directors Academy training directors on board and corporate governance and risk management and audit committees. She speaks and moderates sessions for conferences as well.


She has written articles on HR Governance for HR Matters magazine (now called the Accelerator) and real life case study on board governance failures in Public Listed Companies. Vijayam is very passionate about strong corporate and internal audit practices and continues to contribute in these fields to the financial services sector and through stakeholder supported organizations such as Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission via training and writing standards on learning and development.


Vijayam held many senior and public positions such as President of Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM), financial controller and others. She is a Fellow member of IIAM, CPA Australia and Chartered Accountant with Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She holds Bachelor in Economics and MBA from Monash University, Australia and LLB, London University.


Asian Regional Managing Partner of Haines Centre for Strategic Management


Stephen Lin is Asian Regional Managing Partner of Haines Centre for Strategic Management.  He is a member of the Centre’s Executive Committee and Board of Examiners for its Certification programs, and is also an adjunct instructor of the University of San Diego’s Division of Continuing Education.  He holds a Master in Organizational Leadership, and is co- author of “Enhancing Your Strategic IQ – Winning Strategies from A to Z”.


He is one of only a handful strategic management consultants outside of North America certified by the Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) as a Strategic Management Professional (SMP) – the highest level of competency.  He is also Founding Member and Council Member of the Strategic Management Forum, an international organization dedicated to the advancement of strategic management.


Stephen works with organizations in Singapore and the region, to improve long term performance by developing their strategic and design thinking, strategic management and innovation capabilities through training, coaching and facilitation. He is the Centre’s master facilitator in Asia for training and consultancy in strategic thinking, strategic planning, strategy implementation, leadership, design thinking and innovation.


Stephen has over 28 years of senior management experience in private and public organizations, both as an internal executive as well as an external consultant. As an internal executive, he has led strategic transformation and capability development efforts and been a key member of strategic and scenario planning teams.  As an external strategic planning consultant, he is in demand for in-company training as well as facilitation of strategic planning and implementation efforts.  He also regularly leads public workshops and seminars on key strategic management topics such as strategic thinking & planning, strategy implementation, change management, leadership and innovation, and has conducted these workshops in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, India, UAE, Kuwait, Fiji, Vietnam, China, Australia and the USA.

Datin Nancy Sim has close to 35 years of corporate experience working in three main sectors; 
real estate/hospitality, management consulting, financial services (insurance & asset management).
Nancy’s forte is in Marketing & Human Resources and she has worked in more than ten regional countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
Currently, Nancy is serving on PLC boards and has been a mentor of the ICAEW-TC-WIL programme for the last three terms. 
She is also a qualified coach and has just completed her first book titled, “ Creating Winning Culture & Building SuperTalent, The Anthrophillic Way, A Toolkit Based Book” which was released in October 2018.

Helen Langhammer brings a wealth of global experience into her role as a training consultant. Her corporate experience of over 20 years covers roles in field sales and training, coaching and consulting.


She has trained and consulted for a wide range of GMNCs from industries such as Pharmaceuticals; Hospitality; FMCG; I.T. Oil and Gas; Media and Logistics. Her assignments have covered several countries in Europe, The United States and across several countries in Asia.


She has extensive global experience in training and developing teams and this has led to a deep understanding of the cross-cultural diversity dynamics in teams. She is qualified to administer a range of psychometric tools and is highly skilled in applying each one to her clients' business needs


Her natural interest in people contributes to a style of facilitation that can be best described as warm, informal but very business focused. Clients acknowledge her special skill in relating to groups and making them comfortable enough to open up and express themselves.


Helen has been living in Malaysia for the past 12 years. In her spare time, like many Malaysians, Helen enjoys eating and loves trying new restaurants. She and her husband both love cooking so as a counter balance to those hobbies, she also enjoys keeping fit through yoga, cycling, swimming, walking and for the past 2 years, when most sane people are still sleeping attends a punishing bootcamp session 3 mornings a week.

Faridah is an international speaker, trainer and coach specialising in leadership communication for women executives and entrepreneurs. She is an American graduate with over 20 years in the professional communications industry with senior management experience.


Since 2014, she has focused on teaching women assertive communication so they can lead with more courage, clarity and confidence.


She has spoken at conferences, seminars and workshops to audiences from over 25 countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East on a variety of topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, branding and marketing. She is a regular expert guest on tv and radio on these topics.

Executive Coach and Board Director

Fatimah Merican is an Executive Coach focused on women in leadership. With over 35 years of experience in ExxonMobil in various professional, managerial and leadership roles, juggling career and family, Fatimah is well equipped to coach women aspiring to leadership roles.
Fatimah is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, IJM Plantations Berhad and Paramount Corporation Berhad .
Fatimah retired as Vice President and Director, ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Inc. in March 2014. In this capacity, she was responsible for the financial services of the company, as well as having oversight for procurement, building facilities and a 700-strong IT support centre.
For most of her career, Fatimah was in IT, working in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Fatimah is an advocate for inclusion and diversity, developing and running a program for ExxonMobil IT in support of culturally diversified and dispersed teams.

Jane is an expert in cross cultural leadership and career transitions. An internationally recognized speaker and author of “I Wish I’d Known That Earlier in My Career: The Power of Positive Workplace Politics”, a business book used by corporate universities and career coaches globally, she is also the author of How Asian Women Lead: Lessons for Global Corporations, based on her doctoral research, using storytelling to show new perspectives on the future of leadership and careers. Dr. Marcella Lucas is an innovation strategist who brings a global perspective to solving problems through innovative methods and solutions. Trained and certified as a Blue Ocean Strategy practioner, Dr Lucas was recruited to Malaysia in 2014 to deliver on strategic initiatives to support the National Transformation efforts of the Malaysian government.


Dr Lucas is now the CEO of LeadWomen, a Malaysian grown enterprise which focuses on getting more women onto Board of Directors and into C-suite positions. Through her work at LeadWomen, Dr Marcella is re-innovating how to position women’s leadership as a core strategic imperative for good, sustainable business performance. Dr Lucas obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College, USA and BSc Biochemistry from the University of Bath, UK and is originally from the Netherlands.
