Diversify your Board with LeadWomen!
LeadWomen’s International Women’s Day (IWD) will be happening from 8th – 9th March 2022.
This year’s theme, #BreakingtheBias to create a gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow – where we provide a more collaborative space to work alongside different companies as partners.
As part of International Women’s Day, we are introducing a board networking event for our board-ready members with companies that are looking for potential candidates to be on their board. The purpose of this networking session is to allow for both sides to network and potentially explore board opportunities.
Who should attend?
LeadWomen Director Members:
- Board-ready* members identified by LeadWomen
- Members that are actively looking for board opportunities
*Board-ready indicates members that are equipped with the skills to perform their roles as board members; measured by LeadWomen’s Board Readiness Assessment
Invited Companies:
Chairman / Chair of NRC / Company Secretary / Chief Human Resource Officer of companies that are:
- Actively in the process of sourcing for women director candidates
- Currently in the process of considering placement of women directors on board
- Planning for succession for the board
Programme Structure
- Each networking session will consist of 4 director members with 1 company representative.
- Each member is given 2 minutes to introduce themselves briefly – and the session will proceed with a discussion on a particular topic of choice.
- Once 30 minutes is completed, the company representative will be moved to a different breakout room for another networking session and the attendees will remain in the same room with a different company representative assigned to the room
